Year 4 Blog

In English this term we have been writing letters in the style of the ‘howlers’ from Harry Potter. We loved getting the chance to do some telling off, and we were even able to film our howlers with a little bit of ‘magic’ to bring them to life.  Year 4 revised all vocabulary learnt during this topic. They then used a given sentence structure to write their own guess who sentences. 

Year 4 sang their song, revised animal and habitat vocabulary. Then then read out some sentences from last week.They revised numbers to 24 and were introduced to: Quelle heure est-il? what is the time? They learnt how to say: Il est ……. heure. 

 Year 4 sang their song, revised animal and habitat vocabulary. Then then read out some of their ‘ est’ descriptive sentences which they wrote last week. They then learnt some different verbs and adverbs  which they used to write sentences describing the different animals.  

 Year 4 sang their song, revised animal and habitat vocabulary. Then then learnt some new adjectives which they used to write sentences describing the different animals using the verb- est.
